of silent flight at Aquila Gliding Club. We are a small and friendly
club who offer introductory trial lessons to provide you with a first
taste of the thrill of gliding, through to learning to fly a glider,
going solo and advanced cross country flying. |

Ours is a flying club for everyone from the
beginner to the experienced pilot. If you are enthusiastic about flying,
this is the club for you! At Enstone you will find everything you
would expect from a modern flying school, all combined with the friendly
relaxed atmosphere of our wartime club house. Our training courses
range from the new National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL) and Private
Pilots Licence (PPL) through to advanced training, up to Instrument
Standard. The club is equipped with a superb range of modern aircraft
based on the Socata TB range, as well as a procedural trainer (simulator)
ideal for instrument training. We also offer professional tuition
in all PPL ground subjects. |

Oxfordshire Sportflying Limited was founded
in 1981 by a dedicated group of aviators. Today, Oxfordshire Sportflying
provides training for the NPPL-SLMG (National Private Pilot's Licence
- Self Launching Motor Glider) using the Slingsby T.61F Venture, Grob
G109A and Diamond HK36TC Super Dimona motor gliders, providing the
opportunity to fly both taildragger and tricycle undercarriage aircraft.
Enstone is also an approved examination centre for the Flight Radio
Telephony Licence. |

Shenington Gliding Club is one of the most dynamic
and progressive gliding clubs in the country, with an increase in
membership of 300% since 1991. We pride ourselves on making everybody
feel welcome. There is a thriving social life - during summer there
are regular club barbecues, whilst in winter there is the usual round
of seasonal parties. The longer winter evenings and non-flying days
are ideal for formal and informal gliding lectures, usually followed
by a trip to a local hostelry for refreshments! Our members range
from teenagers to octogenarians and come from all walks of life. We
believe we have one of the highest ratios of active flying female
club members in the country at all levels of experience. |
