Age Concern provides information and advice plus a full range of services for the over 50’s, including computers with internet access and one to one tuition, coffee bar, footcare, befriending, Products and Insurance services. Drop in for a cup of coffee and find out what we can do for you or your family member, neighbour or friend. On Wednesday afternoons we have a representative of the Oxfordshire Association for the Blind between 2pm and 5pm to answer your queries. Disabled access and facilities and parking by arrangement. We also have opportunities for volunteering. Contact the office for more details.

2.   Banbury Friendship Centre (Heyday)

Meetings as follows: 1st Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. for coffee at 'The Priory' (next door to M&S). Third Tuesday of each month at 10.30 a.m. for talk and get together at The Chestnuts Bowling Club (behind the Labour Club, Broughton Road, Banbury). Come and join us for outings to places of interest, theatre visits, 'pub' meals,skittles, and short holidays and friendship.

Banbury U3A (University Of The Third Age) is a voluntary co-operative of older people, usually retired or semi-retired and from all walks of life, which enables members to share learning, creative and leisure activities. No qualifications are needed to join and none are awarded. There is a monthly Monday meeting with a guest speaker, a wide variety of Special Interest Groups, computer courses, film shows, and visits and an expanding programme of social events.
