The Lynden Players were formed in 1975 with a nucleus of members from a former Women’s Institute Drama Group. In search of a name that was ‘rural but not agricultural’ the name, ‘Lynden Players’, was agreed. It’s home, for rehearsals and productions , is Middleton Cheney Village Hall, the Society meeting on Monday and Wednesday evenings, September to May. The players have always been fortunate in having members who not only wish to act but work tirelessly on Costumes, Sets, Lighting, Production, Make up, Hair, Front of House and Catering. Traditionally, there are two productions each year, in December and May.
