Anjali - all ability dance The Mill Art Centre Spiceball Park Banbury OX16 5QE Telephone: 01295 251909 Anjali Dance Company runs regular weekly classes for people with learning disabilities, which offer the opportunity to gain dance and performance skills and make new friends. The classes run in Term time only. There is a small charge for all classes which has to be paid by the term in advance. The classes are taught by professional dance teachers and each class has a teaching assistant from Anjali's Education Team of workshop leaders with learning disabilities.|
|2. Banbury Choral Society Marlborough Road Methodist Church, Marlborough Road, Banbury, OX16 5BZ Telephone: 01295 721792 The Choral Society meets on Monday nights during term time. Rehearsals start at 7.30pm. Social coffee events are held every three to four weeks just prior to the start of rehearsal in order for members of the choir to get to know one another. Banbury Choral Society welcomes new members at all times. If you have sung in other choirs or indeed, if you haven’t sung in a choir before, but just love singing, then we would be glad to hear from you.|

Telephone: 01295 279002 Banbury Cross Players (BCP) were formed as an amateur theatre society in 1945 and have maintained a high standard of amateur theatre for over sixty years. We are always looking to recruit new members to share the enjoyment of this rather strange past-time. No previous acting/crew experience is needed (we are an amateur society after all!). All we ask of new members is to bring a bucketful of enthusiasm with them! Banbury's leading amateur theatre group, performing four productions per year at The Mill theatre. Please come and visit us on one of our Tuesday social evenings!|
|4. Banbury Floral Art Group The Church House Bodicote Telephone: 01295 253891 We meet on the first Monday of every month at 7:30pm. Our members range in experience from novices to ladies with a wealth of experience so there really is something for everyone to enjoy. Each year, we host a number of NAFAS Demonstrators, as well as trips to a local garden or place of interest and regular workshops where you can perhaps learn a new skill. Our meetings are followed by light refreshments and a raffle where you have the chance to win one of the superb floral arrangements on demonstration evenings.|

When not enjoying our lively social get-togethers, we can usually be found hard at work rehearsing our next production. We welcome new members, performing and non-performing. If you are interested in joining us we would be pleased to see you at any of our rehearsals, when you can meet us and find out more about what we do.|
|6. Bodicote Players We are a small and friendly amateur dramatics group who perform a pantomime at Christmas and a play in the spring. We meet most Thursdays at Bodicote Village Hall (September to May)|

|9. Gospel Edge Choir Church Rooms, Church Lane, Cropredy Telephone: 01295 7504442 We meet on Wednesdays 6-7pm. Open to anyone of 10 years and over who enjoys lively, uplifting music sung in three-part harmony. No fees.|

Harlequins Red Lion, Church Street, Cropredy, Near Banbury, OX17 1PA Telephone: 01327 260009 We're a friendly group who enjoy putting on a wide range of productions ranging from new plays by local authors through classic and modern comedies up (or down) to the broadest of pantomimes. Rehearsals tend to be scattered around the village to wherever we can find somewhere with space to practice, but some of us can usually be found in The Red Lion on the second Wednseday of every month from about 8.00pm onwards, enjoying an informal chat about all things connected to the theatre. Hook Norton Brass Band Banbury School, Ruskin Road, Easington Telephone: 01295 266604 or 07919 046617 We are a friendly, entertaining and hardworking brass band which meets for rehearsals on Monday evenings, from 7.30 - 9.30 pm. We also have a training band starting at 6.30pm on Monday evenings during term time at the school too! We are delighted therefore to welcome players of all standards into our organization. Where possible we will provide instruments if required.

Players Middleton Cheney Village Hall, OX17. Telephone: 01295 713866 The Lynden Players were formed in 1975 with a nucleus of members from a former Women’s Institute Drama Group. In search of a name that was ‘rural but not agricultural’ the name, ‘Lynden Players’, was agreed. The players have always been fortunate in having members who not only wish to act but work tirelessly on Costumes, Sets, Lighting, Production, Make up, Hair, Front of House and Catering.

Telephone: 01295 768644 Milltown Singers are a community singing group that meet on Thursday evenings. We are led by Mike Horth who is a professional musician who works primarily in musical theatre. We sing a real mix of music, including songs from musicals, films, well known folk, but mostly we just love to sing. If you want to try us out come along for a taster session.

Cotswold Chamber Choir We are a choir dedicated to bring music of the
highest possible standard to the North Cotswolds area. We regularly
perform concerts in this area and are available to hire for weddings
and other occasions.
|16. Stagecoach Theatre Arts School Blessed George Napier School Telephone: 01908 969467 Stagecoach Main Schools are suitable for children and teenagers between the ages of 6 and 18. Singing, acting and dance classes operate during term time, out of school hours, and run for three hours each week. Theatre schools students are split by age into three groups and participate in drama, dance and singing classes. Whether a child is a natural performer or simply looking for an enjoyable way to boost their self-esteem, the skills they'll learn at Stagecoach schools in the UK will stand them in good stead. Because these skills - confidence, self-expression and creativity - are not just applicable to performance. They are skills for life. Early stages classes are for ages 4-6 and mini stages classes for ages 2-4|

It brings together 7-16 year olds who share a love of music and gives them the opportunity to play in a band, working on ensemble and performance skills and learning about the music industry in a fun and supportive environment. We offer courses in Performance/Ensemble Rock Band skills, Basic Skills and Song Writing. Current courses running on Wed evening, at The Warriner School, Bloxham|

Warriner Choral Society Lecture Theatre, Warriner Music Room, Bloxham Telephone: 01295 253747 The society plays an active part in the life of Bloxham and Deddington villages, most of its concerts being performed in St. Mary's Church, Bloxham or The Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, Deddington. It has acquired a reputation for producing high quality performances, supported by professional musical director, accompanist, orchestra and soloists. Meets Tuesdays @ 7.45pm in term time.|
