Lorraine has been teaching Yoga since 1986, qualifying with the Albion Yoga Movement and the British Wheel of Yoga. She teaches beginners and mixed ability main-stream classes, Pregnancy Yoga classes, and also Foundation Courses for the British Wheel of Yoga for those who wish to explore Yoga further. One to one classes are also available on request.
Lorraine teaches the style of Yoga commonly called 'Hatha' Yoga. This is Integral Yoga, which is an approach that brings in elements of other Yoga paths i.e. meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques), and Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep or deep relaxation). Integral Yoga is a great aid to balancing and de-stressing your life when practised regularly.

Ashtanga yoga is an inspiring, dynamic and physically demanding form of yoga. The class is based on the primary series and the postures are dynamicaly linked to create a continuous flow. A regular practice will help to improve strength, stamina, flexibility and aid relaxation. The classes will be held in a light and spacious yoga studio. The classes are small with a maximum of 6 students per class. This ensures each student receives maximum individual attention. Classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced students.
