It
is the Podiatrist/Chiropodist role to evaluate normal and abnormal
foot function and to
relieve any ensuing discomfort. Patients may present with a range
of signs and symptoms
including: painful high pressure areas such as corns and callus,
abnormal nails, circulation
problems, infection, diabetes, poor muscle and foot function etc.
As part of the health care team, assessment and treatment of these
conditions is within
my scope of practice. Patients may self refer or be referred by
any other health practitioner.
Dr. RICHARD DAVIS BSc, MSc,
MSSCh, MBChA has been
in practice for
many years and has clinics in Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Norton
and is available for
home visits if necessary. He is registered with the Health Profession
Council and is
Chairman of the Western Branch of the British Podiatry and Chiropody
Association.
