Welcome to
the BBW Website!
Did you know that… 54% of women start a business so they can
choose what hours they work, compared with only 35% of men.
This means that the working day can be structured around home
and family commitments. Research shows that many potential female
entrepreneurs fail to overcome the ‘fear factor’ and transform
their business ideas into reality. Overcome this by starting
a business in an area you're interested in. You're more likely
to make a success of it.
The Banbury Business Women's Lunch Group
are a lively group with over 150 members who get together to
network with fellow business women, learn about each others
businesses, try to give support and advice if needed and catch
up on the local gossip!
The BBW meet for lunch on the Second Tuesday of every
month at The
Mercure Whately Hall Hotel @ 12.30pm. Lunch is a hot or
cold buffet format (depending on the time of year), followed
by a presentation from an interesting speaker, whilst we enjoy
our coffee.
We always welcome new members
- There is NO joining fee but lunch has to be pre-booked and
paid for in advance (£15 per person). If you would like to
attend the next lunch, please contact Jenny to book your place
- Click here for her contact details.
Every month you will receive an
e-mail reminding you of the next meeting and our monthly newsletter,
which is a great way to let other members know about your business
– coming events, offers to members, new services/products etc.
New members are added to the Directory of
Members which is available from Sara Cross. If you
have any ideas for possible Speakers, please contact Raine Hilson
- Click here for contact details. |
